The History of Marciano's
The history of Marciano's Restaurant is one founded on perseverance and continued hard work, with an unsurpassed dedication to providing the finest of Italian cuisine to its patrons in South Jersey and beyond.

Samuel and Donna Marciano were married in 1993. Sam was a long time construction worker who had previously owned two companies in the construction industry. He joined the Laborer's Union Local 172 that same year.

Donna was waiting tables while putting herself through school at Glassboro State College. She majored in Business Administration, specializing in Business Management.

The opportunity arose for them to invest in a small business called Luighi's on the north side of Vineland. Luighi's was formerly an old Wawa that had been renovated to accomodate seating for 75 people. The restaurant specialized in pizza, sandwiches and Italian cuisine with a successful takeout business.

Sam and Donna saw potential in the business and on March 1, 1997, they leased the restaurant.

With diligence and determination, they fortified Luighi's presence in Vineland, serving the best quality food at reasonable prices. All entrees were made to order and the menu was expanded to appeal to the tastes of a wider range of customers. They also began on and off premise catering and takeout delivery, which enhanced the restaurant's capabilities to provide for its loyal customers.

Luighi's was no longer the quaint pizzeria it once was in the spring of 1997.

In September of 2005, Sam and Donna purchased Luighi's and named it Marciano's Restaurant.

They expanded the facility to accomodate parking and seating for an additional 125 patrons, a total of 200. A full service bar and conference room were added and breakfast is now available on Saturdays and Sundays.

Today, 10 years later, Marciano's Restaurant continues to serve it's customers in a timely fashion, with a warm smile and the same dedication and loyalty that the customers have always given us in return.
